What happened:
Robin Sanders, 51, is attacked and killed. Her boyfriend, Dennis Weyers, calls police and says he woke up to find her dead in the bed they shared. Weyers, who says he was the only one with her since Dec. 23, is charged with criminal homicide, a charge later upgraded to first-degree murder. The case is dismissed in April 2015 after Weyers died at the age of 48.
