Lucius Moss, 36, is slain in his home and sustains 17 stab wounds, mostly to his neck, face and head. His body and home are set on fire after he is killed. Ellis Thornhill, 38, is charged with first-degree murder, especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated arson, aggravated assault and abuse of a corpse. Police believe Thornhill killed Moss after an argument. The case is pending trial.
