What happened:
Kendre Allen, 20, is shot while riding in a car in the Brainerd area. Responding officers are dispatched to the area and find a vehicle speeding down Brainerd Road to a hospital. Police follow the car and when it arrives at the hospital they discover Allen in the car, suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He dies at the hospital and the car driver tells police they were shot at by an unknown person in another vehicle.
