What happened:
Police respond to a report of shots fired in the area and discover Derry sitting in a black Chevrolet Tahoe wrecked in the road. He is suffering from a gunshot wound and is unresponsive. Paramedics transport him to a local hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries. Witnesses state Derry and another man drove there to deliver 16 pounds of marijuana to the suspect who had set up a robbery. Lewis and three other men allegedly stole the drugs after Derry was shot and the passenger fled.
