What happened:
Taja Whiteside, 30, is found dead in a home in the 5800 block of Moody Sawyer Road in Hixson just before noon on Jan. 11. The manner of the death is not immediately clear, but over the course of the investigation and after a discussion with the Hamilton County Medical Examiner, it's ruled a homicide on Jan. 17.
