What happened:
A housekeeper found the body of Meco Siler, 29, in her room at a 20th Street hotel, stabbed 36 times. A witness told police she was stabbed while attempting to sell cocaine to two men. On Jan. 9, police arrest Brandon Eugene Russell, 29, on a felony murder charge in her death. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 20 years.
