What happened:
Warren Ransom, 33, is found dead on the side of Hooker Road near a car lot in South Chattanooga, shot once in the head. Police believe he was killed at the same place where his body is found. Marcus Birt pleads guilty to second-degree murder and is sentenced to 20 years of prison in December 2015.
