What happened:
Zachary Higdon, 30, is shot in the back in his trailer in the Whispering Pines Mobile Home park at 900 Airport Road. Investigators arrest Jessica Tene Sterchi in 2014 after she told police that her boyfriend's brother shot Higdon during a robbery she participated in. She pleaded guilty and received an eight-year sentence in 2017. The brothers were not charged.
